Commonly this ayurvedic medication is consumed orally, there are other modes of administration as well. These include:
- Nasal Instillation
Take 2- drops in each nostril daily in the morning.
- Triphala Ghrita Eye Drops
Take 2- drops in each eye once a week. .
- Akshi Tarpana
This herbal ghee is usually applied externally to the eyes by an eye procedure called Tarpana or Akshi Tarpana.
Make sure that this procedure is done by an ayurvedic doctor. Otherwise, impurities in the compound may harm the eyes.
