Refund & Cancellation

Any Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Terms of Use which govern your use of our Website (the "Website") and our 'TheVaidyar' application for mobile and handheld devices browser (the "App"). The Website and the App are jointly referred to as the "Platform".

Customer Cancellation

As a general rule Patients are allowed to cancel the appointment with prior notice. However, subject to Patient's previous cancellation history, theVaidyar reserves the right to deny any refund to Patient to a cancellation initiated by Patient even if the same is within the requested time followed by suspension of account and services from As the team who runs the platform, we understand there can be some situation we have to cancel the appointment with our prior notifications by patient's or doctors which will be talking through between both parties and make the decision.

Non-Customer Cancellation has the right to cancel the appointment's based on the Patient's history about misbehaving or not follow the appointment etiquettes from the previous meeting or online consultation.

Any misleading or provide wrong information such as email, phone no, address or other information asked by can cause a cancellation of the request.

Failure to contact Patient by phone or email at the time of appointment can cause cancellation of the request.

Not following the appointment etiquettes or misbehaving at the time of appointment with a doctor can cause cancel the appointment.


Patients may be entitled to a refund for any appointment payment they made based on the status. TheVaidyar retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the Patient of the amount refundable in some scenarios.

Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding. If the refund is processed that should be end of the deal with the Patient with TheVaidyar for those appointments.

All refund amounts shall be credited to Patients account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of Patient's choice, the estimated time lines are detailed as below, in case Patients don't choose to credit it to Patient's wallet, please consider there are few days for reprocessing the refund.

"All Refund and Cancellation process will take 5-7 business days. This means the patient can see the refund and credit the amount to the customers bank account in 5-7 business(working) days. Always reach us to find the status if needed."
