The peripheral nerves are located outside the brain and spinal cord. Peripheral neuropathy is the most common form of neuropathy that affects mainly the feet, legs, hands, or arms. The general symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy are:
- Sharp pain or cramping.
- Weakness in muscles.
- Paralysis happens if motor nerves are affected.
- Extreme sensitivity to touch.
- Numbness.
- Tingling in the feet, pins, and needles.
- Burning pain in the feet.
The exact causes of Peripheral neuropathy are diabetes, alcoholism, deficiency of Vitamin B12
