Following are the healthy ways to care for your baby naturally

  • Pulses

    Pulses are rich sources of proteins, vitamin B, and iron. Including pulses in the daily diet of a toddler helps to improve their metabolism. Also giving pulses daily increases their height and weight. Sometimes, kids won't like the taste of pulses, try to give them it in different forms as they like.

  • Vegetables

    Vegetables contain rich sources of vitamins, minerals, etc required for your baby's proper growth. Regular intake of vegetables ensures that your kid gets all nutrients required for their growth. Beta carotene is the main source of vegetables that are converted into Vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A is very essential for the growth and repair of body tissues ensures good vision and glowing skin. Sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot, papaya, tomato, etc are some of the vegetables which are rich in beta carotene and carotenoids. .

  • Dairy products

    Dairy products like cheese, yogurt, curd, buttermilk, low-fat milk, etc are very important to add to a toddler's diet. Dairy products are rich in calcium, protein, phosphorus, vitamin D, etc that helps to increase the bone weight of your baby.

  • Dry fruits

    Dried fruits and nuts are rich in nutrients like phosphorus, riboflavin, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, vitamins, pantothenic acid, niacin, antioxidants, copper, etc. Different dry fruits contain different nutrient contents. Always give good care while giving dry fruits and nuts to babies because they may not be able to chew them as their teeth may be in a growing period only. You can give them in powder form or the form of paste for safe consumption. Some of the nuts and dry fruits that you can give to your toddler daily are walnuts, almonds, cashew nuts, dates, figs, raisins, etc for their growth and development.

  • Liquids

    To stay your children hydrated, ensure that enough water intakes are following based on their age. Plain water sometimes, they won't like it. Water can be given in various forms like coconut water, lime water, homemade juices, buttermilk, milk, etc based on their taste. Enough water intake keeps their body temperature normal, improves their digestion, prevents constipation problems, keeps their skin glowing, etc.

  • Spices

    Of course, including different spices in the diet of a toddler helps to experience new tastes and flavors for them. Turmeric, nutmeg, coriander, cumin, black pepper, etc can be added to the diet of a toddler to keep them healthy. Most of the spices are rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties which improve their ability to fight various diseases.

  • Fats

    Including fats in the daily diet of toddlers ensures proper growth and development. Oils are rich sources of natural fat and can be added to different foods to improve brain and body development. Coconut oil, olive oil, cow ghee, butter, etc are rich sources of healthy fats for toddlers. .

  • Fruits

    Two serves of fruits per day is advisable for toddlers. Fruits are rich sources of vitamins and minerals.   • Breast milk
