Diet plays a vital role in the maintenance of good health and the prevention and cure of diseases. The effective diet that helps to increase fertility is:

  • One must eat a small, regular, and balanced meal.
  • Consume new fruits and vegetables every day.
  • Avoid processed carbohydrates, antibiotics, and hormone-laden meat and milk, excess starch, and canned products because these destroy fertility.
  • Food such as ghee, milk, nuts, dates, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, saffron, honey, and avocados help to replenish and build Ojas.
  • Include fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, in your diet.
  • Consume whole grains, protein from plant sources like beans, and peas.
  • Eat sweet, juicy fruits such as mangoes, peaches, plums, and pears.
  • Use asparagus, broccoli, spices such as Ajwain powder, cumin (purifies the uterus in women), turmeric (to improve the interaction between hormones and targeted tissues), and black cumin to boost fertility.
  • Root vegetables, grains, arugula, watercress, onions, garlic, chives, improve circulation and nourish the blood.
