  • Hand techniques

    In these methods, pada abhyanga is practised through hand massages with herbal oils. Generally, practitioners choose sesame oil to do pada abhyanga because the oil is rich in antioxidant properties. Initially, the oil is applied liberally to heels, legs, ankles, and soles.
