Shirodhara is ultimately a restorative and regenerative therapy. No serious side effects were reported by practicing Shirodhara under strict medical supervision. However, proper precautions and care should be there while doing Shirodhara like:

• The oil should not enter the eyes or ears while doing Shirodhara.
• Sometimes Shirodhara may lead to certain health conditions like fever, vomiting, nausea, or some allergies.
