An infection can happen in different parts of our urinary tract. Each has a different name, based on where it is. They are,
- Cystitis
( bladder) It is an infection of the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder out of the body. It causes lower belly pain and cloudy or bloody urine.
- Pyalonephritis
( kidneys) It is an infection of the ureters, the tube connecting the kidney to the bladder. This can cause fever, chills, vomiting, and pain in our upper back.
- Urethritis
( Urethra) This can cause a discharge and burning when you urinate.
