Dr. Mithra has received her B.A.M.S. (Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree from Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad.

She had completed her internship from the same college before taking up a role with ALM Ayush Center, Kilpauk, Chennai.

She presented various Ayurveda related topics in different workshops in India.
