Various factors lead to the formation of acne and they are,

  • Bacteria

    Bacterial infections are one of the main reasons for Acne. Propionibacterium acnes are a kind of bacteria that already exists in our skin. The clogged pores become infected with these bacteria which lead to inflammations on the skin.

  • Hormonal changes

    Acne mostly affects women because of hormonal imbalances. Hormonal Acne mostly appears on the chin, nose, and forehead. During the puberty period, androgen hormone is increasing both in men and women which leads to the production of more sebum by sebaceous glands.

  • Genetic Factors

    In some cases, if parents pass some genetic factors which cause Acne, children may also have chances to get affected with Acne. There are approximately 50-90% chances of genetic causes for Acne.

  • Consumption of wrong food

  • Nutritional deficiencies
