  • Amla

    Another name of Amla, is the Indian gooseberry. It is rich in vitamin C. The presence of antioxidants in Amla makes it a great anti-aging herb. It also promotes healthy skin and reduces the signs of aging. In Ayurveda, it is recommended to tighten your skin, and also provide a healthy glow. The adaptogenic nature of Amla protects the skin from the side effects of excess stressors and pressure.

    Applying or drinking Amla juice helps to cleanse your skin and reduce skin pigmentation. For smooth and radiant skin, you can mix amla powder, honey, and yogurt to make a quick face mask. Leave it on till it dries and then rinses it off with cold water.

  • Tulsi

    Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, is well known for its medicinal properties. It also aids in the prevention of aging signs such as wrinkles and fine lines. It nourishes and improves the texture of your skin, resulting in smoother skin. It contains camphene, which acts as a natural toner to remove excess oil from the skin. As a result, it prevents blackheads, whiteheads, and other acne-causing conditions. Make a brightening face mask by combining equal parts ground tulsi leaves and milk. Apply this paste to your face and neck and leave it on for 20 minutes. Then scrub it off. This mask will lighten your skin.

    For skin benefits, consume Giloy with Amla and Haridra. It may also be helpful while applying the paste of Giloy stem or leaves on the skin.
