Shatavari

Asparagus racemosus is the scientific name of Shatavari. From ancient times onwards, Shatavari is considered the Queen of Herbs. Shatavari is extracted from the roots of the Asparagus racemosus plant. The dried roots of the plant are used as an Ayurvedic herb. Shatavari is known as "the plant with hundred roots" in Sanskrit. Shatavari has various health benefits. Shatavari is effective in maintaining Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) in the body. The herb is widely used in preparing various Ayurvedic formulations.
