Introduction

Acidity is a common health condition faced by most people nowadays. Acidity can be termed as the amount of acid substance in your stomach. There are various reasons behind the development of acidity like poor lifestyle changes, unhealthy eating habits, stress, etc.

According to Ayurveda, acidity is known as ' Amlapitta'. The imbalance of Pitta dosha is the main reason for the occurrence of acidity.

Symptoms Of Acidity

General symptoms of acidity are

  • Chest and stomach pain.

    Anger affects very badly on our health in any sense. Anger leads to stomach contractions that in turn leads to upper abdominal pain.

  • Hot environment

    Hot environment causes an increase in body mass index. Such a condition leads to digestion problems and similarly acidity troubles.

  • Spicy foods

    Spicy foods are rich in a compound called capsaicin that lowers the rate of digestion. .
