Introduction

Endometriosis is a common inflammatory disease where the tissue similar to the lining in the uterus grows in other areas of the body like fallopian tubes, ovaries, the outer surface of the uterus, other pelvic organs, and connective tissues. Endometriosis affects 5-10% of women during their reproductive years.

According to Ayurveda, Endometriosis is developing due to the imbalance of Vata dosha. Apana is the main reason for the removal of unwanted waste or toxins from the body. When any disturbances happen for the smooth functioning of removal of toxins, such conditions lead to problems. When ama combines with Vata or Kapha dosha, it blocks Apana Vata's flow. As a result, one needs to suffer from Endometriosis symptoms.

General symptoms of Endometriosis are

  • Intestinal pain.

Causes Of Endometriosis

Endometriosis may occur due to various reasons. General reasons are

  • Endometrial cell transport

    Sometimes the blood vessels may transport endometrial cells to other parts of the body.

  • Immunity problems

    If we face immune system disorders, our body won't be able to recognize tissues like endometrial that are growing outside the uterus.

  • Embryonic cell transformation

    Estrogen hormone may transform embryonic cells into endometrial-like cell implants during puberty.

  • Surgery

    After surgery, there are chances of deposits of the endometrial tissues elsewhere in the pelvis.

  • Retrograde menstruation

    Retrograde menstruation is common and happens when blood flows backward into the pelvis instead of out of the vagina during menstruation.

General causes of endometriosis are surgical effects, retrograde menstruation, embryonic cell transformation, immunity problems, endometrial cell transport, etc.

  • Warm milk

    Drinking a glass of warm milk with a mix of two teaspoons of Indian Asparagus powder is a natural way to cure Endometriosis.

  • Ginger tea
