The Dosage Of Purana Ghrita

As per Ayurveda, the exact dosage should recommend by the patient's age, strength, digestive ability, type of the ailment, the condition of the internal organs, etc.

The general dosage is:

  • One-fourth teaspoon-1 spoon for (5-10 gram) twice a day with milk or lukewarm water.
  • Externally it is applied on sores, boils, carbuncles, and for massage.


  • During this time, avoid the consumption of non-vegetarian foods.
  • If you have digestive weakness, impaired digestion, liver weakness, whitish and foul-smelling feces, and chronic fever, avoid using Ghrita.
  • Obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetic people, and anyone with a high cholesterol level should take precautions when taking this medication.
