  • Family history

    Genetic factors may also cause the development of UC. You may also get affected with UC if any of your family members have faced this condition.

  • Age

    Age is an important factor in the occurrence of Ulcerative colitis. Because the disease mostly affects people at the age of either between 15 to 30 or older 60.

  • Immune disorders

    If you are a person suffering from immune disorders, there is more chance to get affected with UC.

  • Environmental factors

    Bacterias and viruses in the environment trigger your immune system that automatically leads to the development of UC.

  • Ethnicity
