Kashaya Dravya (materials for preparing decoction)

  • Chavya (Piper retrofractum) – 2.4 kg.
  • Vashpika (Nigella sativa) – 480 gms.
  • Shadgrantha/Vacha (Acorus calamus) – 480 gms.
  • Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica) – 1.2 kg.
  • Shati (Hedychium spicatum) – 480 gms.
  • Pushkaramoola (Inula racemosa) – 480 gms.
  • Hapusha (Juniperus communis) – 480 gms.
  • Triphala – (Hareetaki (Terminalia chebula), Vibhitaki (Terminalia belerica), Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) - 480gms.
  • Patolamoola (root of Trichosanthes dioica) – 480 gms.
  • Yavani (Trachyspermum ammi) – 480 gms.
  • Kutajatvak (bark of Holarrhena antidysenterica) – 480 gms.
  • Vishala (Citrullus colocynthis) – 480 gms.
  • Dhanyaka (Coriandrum sativum) – 480 gms.
  • Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata) – 480 gms.
  • Danti (Baliospermum montanum) – 480 gms.

  • Jala(Water) – 98.304 liters (8 drona).

Madhura Dravya (sweetening substance)
  • Guda/Jaggery – 14.4 kg (300 pala).

Prakshepa Dravya (powders to be added)
  • Dhataki (woodfordia fruticosa) – 960 grams (20 pala). .
  • Chaturjataka (384 grams) -Twak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Ela (Elettaria cardamomum), Patra (Cinnamomum tamala),Nagakeshara (Mesua ferrea).
  • Lavanga (Syzygium aromaticum) – 48 grams each.
